This book tells me that there are three levels of charity. It says that the highest is anonymous charity, and the lowest is advertised charity, and it says that providing employment lies between, in the middle. If this is true, I think those who are giving out jobs should be allowed to advertise their charity. And they can collect points to match their anonymous competitors. But one thing still puzzles me. If giving someone a job is charity, does that make a worker a bum? |
